Avalon Media Proprietary Limited, established in 1999, is an australian-based media development and production company, with offices in Sydney  and New York City.
In 1999, the company purchased Lesbians on the Loose, a Sydney-based magazine, which was first published as an eight-page newsletter in 1989.

Avalon Media now produces 2 flag ship publications in print:  "LOTL Magazine" formely known as "Lesbians on the Loose" Magazine est in 1989 and BOUND Magazine. LOTL is a free to street monthly magazine distributed to city centres of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane focusing on community events, entertainment, political and social developments and local lesbian life in Australia. LOTL Magazine has the undisputed lesbian market share in Australia celebrating over 20 years in publishing in 2010!  Its readership includes every state and territory of Australia, as well as in 116 countries and territories overseas, in locations as diverse as Iraq, Sudan and Nicaragua.


BOUND Magazine was established in November 2009. BOUND  offers in-depth features, celebrity interviews, travel editorial, fashion spreads and previews of the latest lifestyle essentials. The publication, available at news agencies and through subscription, has a unique pool of contributors from around the world including Europe, North America, South Africa, the Indian subcontinent, South East Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand. BOUND is now available in over 15 countries, next to FRANKIE, VOGUE & VANITY FAIR.

Avalon Media now offers  a range of platforms, delivering content about Lesbians  and their interests through print, digital, mobile phone and Television.
