Want to work for your favourite magazine?LOTL is looking for motivated interns looking to gain experience in the publishing industry. This internship position is unpaid, though there is a possibility for paid work in the future. All interns will begin contributing to lotl.com. Opportunities for hard copy inclusion of their work is possible and at the discretion of the editor.
This internship is available for those in cities and regional areas throughout Australia. A computer and reliable internet access is a must as interns work remotely.
Interns will be working closely with the Associate Editor and contributing content to lotl.com. Interns are required to contribute on a weekly or monthly basis. They are assigned work and are expected to pitch features each month.
This is a fantastic opportunity for writers wishing to get experience and exposure and for those wishing to learn about the publishing industry.
Professional writing experience is not a must for this position, though applicants should share a passion for contributing to lesbian visibility in Australia as well as an interest in expanding their writing experience. A sense of humour is important and a high standard of professionalism is expected.
