Toss on that apron and start mixing – it’s time for the 2011 BGF Bake Off.
This year’s Bake Off will take place at Slide. There will be a cake display with auction and all proceeds will serve to further the goals of the BGF Foundation, which is to help people living with HIV (PLHIV) by providing practical, emotional and financial support.
They’ve selected a circus theme for this year so look to the big tops of the world for inspiration. The categories are:
Best Cake
Best Cake (Professional)
Best Decorated Cake
Best Fete Baking
Best Cup Cake
Best Preserves (Jams and Pickles)
Best Tart
Best Non-Edible Cake

Click here to submit your online application. Entries must be received by 5.00pm on Wednesday 15 June. Make sure you complete one form per entry. Individual and Team entries are encouraged to keep up the competition.
Entries need to be delivered to Slide between 11am and 12.30pm on the day of the event. Make sure all cakes are firmly attached to a base so they don’t slip off and can be easily transported. All cakes will be auctioned or sold as slices.
BGF requests that all entrants are present for the auctioning of their entries.
