The state heats for the inuagural Miss Burlesque Australia competition kick off this month with 60 performers battling it out for the crown. Heats will take place across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart.
The competiton sees professional burlesque perfromers and emerging artists vying for a slot to compete for the title at the Grand Final which will be held in Sydney in August. ten performers will battle it out in each state heat with the winner and runner up then being flown to Sydney for their chance to at the crown, plus a prize pool worth over $10,000 AUD including a return trip to Paris, cash, costumes and more.
