It’s about time the lesbians took over the Sydney Opera House. Join the party!
As featured in the March edition of LOTL, Georgina Abrahams and Gabrielle Journey Jones of Creative Womyn Down Under are the women behind the Lesbians in the House Concert gala event this July 10th, 2011 at the world famous Sydney Opera House.
Twenty years ago, two thousand lesbians gathered at the Sydney Opera House for a night of great music, dance and community. This July, lesbians will be back in the house with many of theoriginal artists plus a whole lot more. In the first half, 1991 performers will reunite, including Judy Small, Deborah Cheetham, Anique, Kath and Ini and the Jive with Jeanette dancers. The second half provides a variety of musical styes and special segments including Bluehouse, Julie McCrossin, Shauna Jensen, Kerrianne Cox, Mignon, Journey MC and Maeve Marsden.
